Tapestries:
Our tapestries are woven by hand on backstrap looms by the Mayan
women of Guatemala. These women use the best thread to
make their products which are an extension of their culture, heritage,
history and selves. Learning to weave as young children,
Mayan weavers are experts at their trade. We only offer
the best in contemporary Guatemalan weaving.
Photos:
Our photography is shot using both traditional film media and
digital processes. Film is then scanned at 4000 dpi using
a Nikon super cool-scan 5000 and printed on an Epson Stylus Photo
2200. Epson Ultrachrome inks are used to ensure the quality
and duration of our prints. All prints are made on Epson
Premium Luster Paper unless otherwise specified. To check
on the duration of digital prints made with Ultrachrome inks on
Epson papers visit the Epson website. All of our photographs
are professionally matted on white matt-board and framed in a
black 8 x 10 or 16 x 20 frame.
